An EPD is a standardized document that provides third-party verified information on product’s environmental impacts throughout a product’s life cycle including Global Warming, Ozone Depletion, Eutrophication, Acidification, Photochemical Oxidant Creation, Smog Formation and Abiotic Resource Depletion Potential based on ISO 21930:2017 and ISO 14044:2006 criteria.

The EPD certification confirms that G J Steel and G Steel have met all criteria for evaluating their Hot Rolled Steel Coil production life cycle, encompassing scrap and pig iron processing, EAF operations, and product delivery to customers. This certification assures customers that both companies prioritize environmentally responsible production methods backed up by measurable and certified results.
